The Yuba River Enneagram

The YREC was founded to bring the knowledge of the Enneagram to our local community, following the Narrative Tradition of Helen Palmer.

The YREC is dedicated to:

  • Coming together to study and share our experience of the Enneagram
  • Support the learning, interaction and personal experience that supports deeper understanding of self and others
  • Applying the Enneagram knowledge to integrate the three centers: mental, emotional and physical
  • Providing public programs which teach people about self awareness and inner observation as a means to develop oneself as a human being
  • Creating awareness of the significance of personality and character structure in our lives and in the world around us

Join the YREC in one of the upcoming events or discover your own type in a private interview with Certified Enneagram Teacher Marion Gilbert.

Madeline D’AndreaMadeline D’Andrea

Madeline D’Andrea has a BA in Music and an Elementary Teaching Credential from UC Santa Barbara. With over 28 years of teaching experience she retired in 2008.  She has always been curious about understanding the human personality, from children to adults, and how humans function best in the world. What is the highest functioning for a human being? She appreciates the value the Enneagram places on the importance of honoring all types of people.

Madeline became interested in the Enneagram when she observed her first Enneagram panel approximately 25 years ago. She has found this work especially helpful in her relationships with her daughter and husband, and completed her certification in the Helen Palmer and David Daniels Narrative Traditions training in February 2010 after she retired from her teaching career. She is available for personal interviews as well as a facilitator of local Enneagram workshops.
