My name is Ingo Zirpins, MSPT. I traveled from Germany in 1992, first studying massage at the Esalen Institute, and Shiatsu/ Acupressure at the Berkeley Acupressure Institute. Inspired by an 88 year-old practicing physical therapist/ healer in Santa Cruz, I continued to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology & Human Movement Studies at San Francisco State University, while upholding a private massage practice.

In 2003, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco, after which I pursued professional experience mainly in outpatient orthopedic and chronic pain settings, as well as partly in acute inpatient, geriatric, and skilled nursing care facilities. Meanwhile, I have continued long distance studies at the University of St Augustine, Florida, in the pursuit of a certification in Manual Therapy.

All in all, I have great passion for my profession. I believe in hands-on, mindful, and patient-centered care, which in my philosophy embraces not only the body, but also the mind and the spirit to help & support the individual healing process.
